WRC 10: Free October
Nacon and KT Racing publish a free update for WRC 10, the official video game for the Fia World Rally Championship.
The update is available today on the platforms Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 | 5, and PC via Steam and brings new content and a new game mode.
A new asphalt challenge with the Rally Ypres
This free update adds the most anticipated Renties Ypres Rally Belgium, which was won by the local driver Thierry Neuville this year. Started in 2021 in the calendar, the players will have the opportunity to experience these new paved highways.
They are narrow and curved, framed by trenches and poles and interrupted by numerous interrupts. The road edges often bring dust and mud to the asphalt and make the conditions slippery, the drivers do not hesitate to cut the curves. In the WRC 10, the Rally Ypres from 7 stages plus a Shakedown.
More historical events
Three new historical events are added in which famous driver and passenger duos compete in their original vehicles: the Rally Portugal 1980 with Walter Röhrl and Christian Ghost villages in their Fiat 131 Abarth, the Rally Finland 1981 with Ari Vatanen and David Richards in their Ford Escort MKII 1800 and finally the Rally Portugal 2017 with Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia in her Ford Fiesta WRC.
In addition, 6 historical rallies are already included in the basic game, including Acropolis, San Remo, Germany and Argentina. All this is in addition to the already rich content available since the introduction of WRC 10: more than 20 mythical cars, legendary drivers like Carlos Sainz, Sébastien Loeb, Colin McRae and Tommi Mäkinen.
Finally, the passenger mode is improved by a complete lexicon, which brings the players the experience and promotes the immersion. Through a QTE system, the passenger is fully involved by victory by promoting the tempo notes, but also by remaining in rhythm! An equally entertaining as exciting online experience.
Another free update will be available in November, which will also bring many content for rally fans.
